Will provide expertise to strengthen state, federal, and external partnerships through the implementation of the National Fish Habitat Partnership (NFHP) http://www.fishhabitat.org/; will complete the 2014 NOAA report on the implementation of the National Fish Habitat Partnership Memorandum of Understanding; and will support the National Fish Habitat Board in setting agendas and coordinating discussions to advance priorities of the Partnership including participation on key Board committees. Will support the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) Board member through preparations for upcoming meetings; will support regional NMFS staff in furtherance of their energy-related activities including under the Federal Power Act; and will support national habitat conservation policy initiatives through NOAA's Habitat Blueprint (www.habitat.noaa.gov/habitatblueprint). This support will require participation in hydropower relicensing-related calls, attendance at applicable meetings, tracking of relevant projects, compiling and summarizing issues, and development of responses to inquiries on hydropower related issues. Will facilitate communication and coordination between regional, legal, and headquarters staff.
