Leopold Leadership Video Project - iPhone

To make a video using an iPhone 4:

  1. Open your camera app and move the right-hand slider to the videocamera position
  2. Hold the camera horizontally.
  3. Click the black camera icon in the upper right corner to see the image of you that the camera will be recording.
  4. Double-tap on the screen to pull up the 16:9 aspect ratio viewer. The camera will capture everything between the horizontal black bars.
  5. Make adustments as needed. Be sure to check the background. Remove clutter! Get away from background noise.
  6. When you're satisfied with the image, press the red button to record.
  7. When you're finished, press the red button again.
  8. Email the video to yourself (if it’s small enough) or download it to your Mac.
  9. Open “iMovie” on your Mac*; follow the steps shown in the 4-minute “Welcome to iMovie” tutorial to view your movie and edit as needed.
