Leopold Leadership Fellows lead change in many dimensions; the Leopold Leadership Program seeks to provide leadership training that is useful and relevant wherever Fellows choose to work.
In its core training, the program offers two intensive training sessions a year apart to help Fellows gain the skills, approaches, and theoretical frameworks for translating their knowledge to action and for catalyzing change to address the world’s most pressing environmental and sustainability challenges.
At reunions and through advanced trainings, Fellows have the opportunity to reconnect, recharge, learn new approaches, and exchange ideas about integrating science into practice.
The Leopold Leadership Program will not open a call for applications in 2017. We are exploring opportunities to extend our programming, with the goal of helping more researchers achieve success in linking their knowledge to action in a range of settings. Assuming that funding continues to be available, we anticipate opening the next call for applications in January 2018. If you want to be notified when the call opens, email Pam Sturner (firstname.lastname@example.org). You may also be interested in these other training programs.
